Hi! I wanted to go to magic kingdom, and Animal kingdom/hollywood studios, as well as a water park. We will be there for a total of 3 days. Is there a way that I can visit two parks in one day? My son is 5 years old and he loves the old Disney classics.

    Hi Sydney,

Welcome to planDisney! You and your family are going to have such a fantastic time exploring all the magic at Disney World. Three days will be tight to enjoy everything Disney has to offer but it is doable.

There are Theme Park Ticket options for just about every trip type including what you are hoping to do! When you go to purchase your tickets you will need to choose the Theme Park Ticket option, the number of days you wish to visit, and then the date range of your visit. Since you want to visit more than one park a day and spend time at the water parks, you will choose the Park Hopper Plus Option. This ticket will allow you to hop between Disney World's 4 theme parks throughout each day of your trip. It will also include a set number of visits to Disney's Water Parks, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and the miniature golf courses.

You want to pack a lot of magic into 3 days so to help you make the most of it, you will need to have a plan. Since your son loves classic Disney, I recommend reserving one whole day to explore Magic Kingdom. His age and interests are perfectly aligned with the attractions and rides at Magic Kingdom and he will have so much fun experiencing every single one of them!

I would split one day between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. These theme parks are connected by the Disney Skyliner so it is easy to park hop between the two of them. I would start my day early at Hollywood Studios and plan to head to EPCOT for lunch and to spend the rest of the day exploring. The food at EPCOT is spectacular so I would eat both of my main meals there for the day.

For your third day, I would start at Animal Kingdom because Kilimanjaro Safari is most active early in the day. Once you are finished exploring Animal Kingdom, you can head over to the water park for some relaxation and playtime. Don't forget to grab lunch at Flame Tree Barbeque before you head out of Animal Kingdom. This is one of my favorite quick-service locations at Disney World.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
