I wanted to give my parents part of thier Easter gift this year by hiding Easter eggs filled with Disney Dollars, but I'm not old enough to own a credit card. So my question is can you buy Disney Dollars by using a Disney Gift Card

    Hi Joseph,

You're so sweet to think of your parents. They must be very proud of you.

According to the WDW website, Disney Dollars may not be purchased with a Disney Gift Card. I do, however, have some alternative ideas for you. When Disney accepts credit card payment, they also will accept other forms of payment that have a credit card logo. This includes Visa or MasterCard branded debit cards or stored value cards such as an American Express gift card.

While this is a bit convoluted, you could purchase an AmEx gift card near your home. This has a credit card-like number on it which you could use to buy Disney Dollars. See the link I've given you above for how to do that.

Good luck and have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.
