Welcome aboard, Cassandra! I'm really thrilled to hear that your family is considering taking not just a magical cruise with Disney Cruise Line, but an overseas adventure that will take your family across the Atlantic ocean from the United States to Northern Europe with some amazing ports of call in between! I have not yet had the pleasure of sailing a
transatlantic cruise with Disney, but it is on my bucket list for sure!
When you book this cruise with Disney Cruise Line, they are happy to help you arrange a one-way flight from your home city to Port Canaveral, and another one-way flight from Copenhagen, Denmark back to your home city. Of course, you may book your flights independently as well, or through a travel agent. No matter how you book the flights, you may also want to look into the possibility of spending a few extra days in Copenhagen or even traveling around the surrounding areas a bit. Any of this can be independently booked, and your family can then fly home from whichever city you end your vacation, whether it be straight off the ship in Copenhagen, or perhaps from a city in Sweden, Germany, or Norway, if you extend your trip to add a night or two traveling on your own to those nearby countries.
There are even Port Adventures in Copenhagen for those guests who want to explore the city a bit more on their debarkation day there before heading to the airport. Check out the Port Adventure called
Copenhagen and Canal Cruise that ends at the airport! What a nice way to wrap up your magical adventure!
The world is yours, Cassandra! Stop back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any other questions you may have before you set sail! We're happy to help!
