    Alexandra from CA Asked

Hello! I just wanted to clarify if we need to show proof of residency for minors?? If so I just need to know what kind of documentation your looking for? Also my household consists of different last names, what are the different household specifications?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, you’re as welcome as can be at planDisney, Alexandra!

Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

Three chEARs for visiting The Happiest Place on Earth with young Mouseketeers! Experiencing the magic with the ones you love most is so very special, and I cannot wait for you all to visit Disneyland Resort together!

Alexandra, as you know, residents of California can make theme park reservations required to enter the theme parks. These are linked through a Guest’s Disney account, which will be associated with a California address. Along with this, Guests will also be asked to confirm California residency when making reservations and may be asked to provide additional proof of residency once there. However, visitors under the age of 18 will not need to produce photo identification to show proof of residency. As long as your young Mouseketeers are under the age of 18, they will not need to bring photo identification.

Due to current health and safety guidelines, Guests will need to be in groups of no more than three households to make their reservations. This means that a group cannot live in more than three separate households. As long as your family of four resides within 1, 2, or 3 houses, you can most certainly make your theme park reservations! There is no need to worry if you have different last names; as long as you have all made your theme park reservations and have your tickets, you should be fine.

We can’t wait to welcome you all to the magic, Alexandra!
