Hey there, hi there, and boo to you, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by with these questions because special events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are something I look forward to every year. I always expect Florida pop-up showers so it is best to follow Scar's advice and"Be Prepared."
In general,
Special Event parties such as
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are rain or shine with "rain checks" and refunds rarely needed or given. I was with a large group during one of the parties and there was a downpour. Mickey still went on with the shows, fireworks, and parades but they were delayed a bit. It is possible those events could be canceled because the safety of the parade performers is the top priority. If that happens focus on more spooky indoor experiences such as more attractions, characters, and treat trails. Don't miss this Haunted Mansion you never know if there will be ghosts out to socialize. If the party get canceled and you are unavailable for another night, then head to Guest Service and chat with a Cast Member.
With rain in the forecast, consider getting a
rental locker to store your treats and bags and wear a
theme park-appropriate costume including footwear that will survive the weather. Ponchos and umbrellas go a long way during the rain. I recommend you arrive around 3:30 PM because your party ticket will allow you to enter at 4:00 PM. This will get you to the front of the line giving you three extra hours to visit special friends like Jack Skellington and Sally, as well as all Seven Dwarfs who only appear at this party.
Stephanie, you will have a spooktastic adventure. Please free to
reach out to me directly for any follow-up questions or Disney vacation planning advice.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
