We bought Mickey's not so scary tickets, do we still have to make a park rsvp

Boo to you, Kaye, and welcome to planDisney. This is the title and hook for the theme song to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and you will be singing it all night.

The fall holiday decorations (ironically beginning with about half of the summer season remaining) are some of my favorites of the year topped off by so many guests dressed up for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You will enjoy it all during the most spell-tacular Halloween party in all the "World." You do not need a park reservation for date-based tickets or special event tickets like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You may enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM even though the party does not officially begin until 7:00 PM. Amazing, right? If you are going in costume you may want to consider a rental locker to store items during the party and be sure to read the theme park costume guidelines.

Some advice to get the most "Boo" for your buck. There are four unique party experiences that I must see:

    1. Headless Horseman Ride during the second parade because it is dark out and less crowded
    2. Arrive early and meet the Seven Dwarfs, Jack Skellington, and Sally BEFORE official party time
    3. Visit the treat trails
    4. Visit the Haunted Mansion - usually some ghosts are out to socialize
This is my favorite event of the year for the past decade. I hope you enjoy all the spooks and specters as much as I do and be sure to arrive early, think 3:30 PM.

Kaye, have a spooktastic time. Please free to reach out to me directly for any follow-up questions or Disney vacation planning advice.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
