I wanted to buy magic bands for 1 day ticket for Magic Kingdom as a gift for Christmas. Is there a way to do this without setting the date at time of purchase? What is the easiest way to make this type of purchase?

    Dear Tedica,

Thank you for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

What a lovely and generous gift that you are planning! At this time, with the new variable pricing of the theme park tickets, I recommend that you consider a festive holiday-themed Disney gift card in the amount of your choosing. That will enable your gift recipient to reserve the date that works for them, and will be nice to present for Christmas as well.

If your gift includes a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your gift recipient will receive a complimentary MagicBand with their reservation. If it does not include hotel, you can purchase a MagicBand to present as part of your gift and then the recipient can link that to their My Disney Experience account.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
