Hi Just wanted to ask if I can use my quick service to buy snacks and how it would work? Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rajbinder!

I am happy to help you with your question about the Quick-Service Dining Plan.  With this plan, each member of your party will receive 2 Quick-Service meal entitlements and 2 snacks or non-alcoholic drinks per day.  You may use your meal and snack entitlements in any increments from check-in until midnight on your check-out day.  So if you would like to have 3 Quick-Service meals on one day and nothing but snacks on another, you can do that!

At Quick-Service dining locations, carts and stands, you will find the purple and white Disney Dining Plan symbol indicating which items are eligible to redeem a snack credit.  Basically, almost anything that is a single serving, but not an entree, is considered a snack.  Examples of items that may be redeemed with a snack credit are:
    • Fountain beverage, coffee, bottled beverage or water
    • Ice cream cone, sundae, or novelty
    • Pastry, cookie, or muffin
    • Popcorn scoop
    • Piece of fruit
    • Side items, such as fries, soup, or vegetable

The easiest way to "purchase" snack items will be to scan your MagicBand at point of sale.  The appropriate credits will be deducted from your Dining Plan.  You can view the number of remaining credits in the My Disney Experience mobile app, or on your dining receipts.  My friend and fellow panelist Jessica is a whiz at getting the most value from her Disney Dining Plan credits.  Check out some of her great snack suggestions!

It is also possible to redeem a Quick-Service meal entitlement for 3 snack items when purchased in the same transaction.  For example, you could select a single-serve bottle of orange juice, pastry item, and fruit cup as a "build-your-own" meal.

Rajbinder, I hope I have answered your question.  If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by the Moms Panel again anytime.  We are always happy to help.  Enjoy your visit!
