Hi! I wanted to ask if there is a firework seating package during Christmas week! (assuming there will be a Minnie Christmas firework show?) Thank you so much!!

    Hi Sabrina. Welcome to planDisney!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort, the Most Magical Place On Earth, during the Most Wonderful Time of the Year is truly a special experience. The holiday season brings stunning decorations, festive entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to create unforgettable memories. Christmas week is an especially magical time to take in the sights and sounds of the season.

To answer your question, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace is exclusively offered during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which concludes on December 20th. Since your visit falls during Christmas week, you’ll want to explore other enchanting options for enjoying the fireworks. One popular choice is the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties,  which include the Seats & Sweets party or the Pre-Party and Post-Party options. However, Seats & Sweets tends to fill up quickly as it is typically booked 60 days in advance. I recommend checking with your Disney Resorts Collection hotel front desk upon arrival, contacting your travel agent (if applicable), or reaching out to Disney directly to inquire about last-minute availability for any of these experiences.

If the dessert parties aren’t available, there are still fantastic ways to elevate your fireworks viewing experience. One of my favorite recommendations is booking a Fireworks Cruise from the Enchanting Extras Collection to cruise the Seven Seas Lagoon during the fireworks. Watching the spectacular display from the water, with the monorail gliding in the background, is a truly breathtaking experience your family will treasure. Another option is to take in the show from the beaches of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. My planDisney bestie, Jenna J., and I just had a relaxing cocktail with our toes in the sand a few weeks ago, and it was such a relaxing break from running around the parks. Add watching the fireworks and having the music piped in, and it could be a great way for you and your family to enjoy the show.

Thank you for visiting planDisney, Sabrina! If you have any other questions as you finalize your plans, feel free to reach out. Wishing you an incredible holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

    Cheers,
    Brent
