Hiya JD! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for visiting us with your question.
Using the
My Disney Experience app is one of my top tips for friends planning a Disney World vacation. It can be used for practical things like opening your Disney resort room door, Disney park access (if your tickets are linked), and tapping into your
Lightning Lane reservations. My family uses it to check bus wait times, attraction wait times, for merchandise
mobile check out at some gift shop locations, and placing mobile food orders to skip busy lunch lines.
It sounds like you plan to include the
Disney Dining Plan with your vacation package, and want to know how to find your snack credits? Ka-chow! That's another nifty thing you can find in the app!
To find your snacks balance on your dining plan, open the My Disney Experience app's home screen and look for your Disney Resort reservation, then click the blue "My Resort" link. Here's where you'll find all kinds of details about your stay. Scroll to the bottom and look for the tab with a blue icon that says "Check Dining Plan". This should show your remaining balance of Dining Plan meal and snack entitlements. Please note this information won't appear until your arrival day, after check-in.
JD, you seem like the kinda Disney fan that already has a list of favorite snacks, but before I go I just have to share mine. It's the
Tropical Serenade float at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom! Soooo YUM!! And if you've never tried it... please promise me that you will on your next visit. I'm serious. I dream about the Tropical Serenade. It's the kinda snack Disney Dreams are made of!
I hope this helped answer your question, JD. Feel free to send us a message at planDisney if we can help sprinkle any pixie-dust on your magical vacation!
Bon appétit!
Tami
