Ho-ho-ho, Elizabeth!
Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney with your jolly
Disney Cruise Line question!
I have a daughter for whom live Christmas trees turn her nose redder than Jolly Ol' Saint Nick's, so I understand your concern. But, you won't need to miss Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic Ceremony in the atrium lobby since, based on my experience and according to a Crew Member I spoke with, all of the Christmas trees and garlands aboard the ships are not natural pine. What is real is the life-size gingerbread house made of completely edible ingredients, so don't miss it. It looks and smells delicious!
Very Merrytime Cruises are my favorite and I know you and your family will enjoy every festive moment. There are so many activities, events and entertainment to get you in the spirit of the season. Taking photos with Characters dressed in their holiday finest is a great way to keep the holiday magic alive long after you disembark. Be sure to pack some festive attire for Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Deck Party and snap some photos, too! Check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when you board the ship for the schedule of these events and more.
I hope this information is helpful, Elizabeth. If you have specific allergy-related questions, I recommend
reaching out to our friends at Disney Cruise Line directly. If you have planning questions or need tips for making the most of your vacation sail back by planDisney; we are happy to help.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
