Boo to you, Heidi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for coming out to socialize with us! I find the Fireworks Dessert Parties at Magic Kingdom Park to be the most delicious and easiest way to view that evening's nighttime spectacular. While most dining reservations open 180 days in advance, the dessert parties tend to work a bit differently. The one held during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be listed as Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party and all available dates are usually opened at one time. This past year, for example, they opened at the end of May.
The treats served at these parties are always so good, but the Halloween-themed offerings are frightfully amazing! The menu is subject to change, but last year, guests were not too scared to try Poison Apple Cupcakes, Worms 'n Dirt featuring Master Gracey's tombstone, Oogie Boogie Meringue, and Madame Leota Tarts. If you would like a taste of these spooktacular treats, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, who is sure to alert all Foolish Mortals when reservations open.
Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan hair-raising fun during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
