Hi! We will be in Walt Disney World for New year's Eve this year. We will be staying at the All Star Music Resort. Can you tell me if they will have any NYE activities at the resort or would we be better off braving the crowds at Epcot? :) Thank you!!

Hi, Angel!  First, I would say that braving the crowds, for my family, is part of the fun of a Walt Disney World holiday vacation.  Who wouldn't want to ring in the new year with a few thousand of their closest friends?  It's like being at Times Square in New York City, only without the cold weather.

The resorts may offer special holiday entertainment, but there isn't a schedule available yet for me to offer you.  There are places throughout the Walt Disney World resort area where you will be able to enjoy the fireworks, and there is usually entertainment and fun on the Boardwalk and the Disney Springs area.

If you don't mind the crowds, though, ringing in the new year at one of the theme parks can be a truly unforgettable experience.  It was once a bucket list item for me, and now it's something I genuinely look forward to doing again at some point.
