Hiya Kelli,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for swinging by with your question! I’m thrilled to hear that your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner. Late January is such a wonderful time to visit, with potentially smaller crowds and weather that’s perfect for exploring the parks; think crisp mornings that warm up nicely in the afternoon. Whether you’re zipping through the galaxy on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, enjoying a leisurely stroll around World Showcase, or taking in the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT, there’s so much to look forward to during your stay.
I am happy to report that Key to the World cards are still available for Guests! If you prefer not to use the
My Disney Experience app or a
MagicBand+, simply stop by the front desk of your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and a friendly Cast Member will provide one for you. If you’re not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can pick up a Key to the World card at the Guest Relations windows located at the entrance of any theme park or water park. Another convenient option is to visit the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, where you can handle a variety of ticket and reservation needs.
That said, I’d like to share how the My Disney Experience app and
MagicMobile service can make your vacation even smoother. With MagicMobile, you can turn your smartphone or smartwatch into a digital pass that does nearly everything a Key to the World card can do—including theme park entry, Lightning Lane access, and charging purchases back to your Disney Resort hotel room if you're staying onsite. This feature is incredibly easy to set up in the app and could save you time by eliminating the need to stop by a Guest Relations location. It’s also a handy backup if you accidentally leave your physical card behind.
I’d be happy to help with any other questions as you finalize your plans, Kelli! Whether you’re looking for advice on the best
Disney Character dining experience, recommendations for the perfect spot to watch
Happily Ever After outside the parks, or tips for enjoying a relaxing Disney Resort day, feel free to reach out. Wishing you and your family an unforgettable vacation!
Cheers!
Brent
