One of my favorite tips for this after-hours event is to skip buying a theme park ticket for the day of your party. Guests can access Magic Kingdom Park with a valid party ticket
as early as 4:00 PM, so I recommend enjoying a day at your resort to sleep in, lounge by the pool, and rest up for a late night of holiday happenings!
If you plan to spend the whole day at Magic Kingdom, then you will need to purchase a theme park ticket in addition to the party ticket. Another option is to buy admission to another park;
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park usually closes around 6 PM that time of year, so you'd get your money's worth of fun there before going to the party.

tickets are still available for the Christmas party on December 10. As far as going solo, I absolutely support this plan! I'm a local, so my husband often drops me off at a theme park while he plays at
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. He joins me for dinner at the park, but I enjoy strolling and snacking on my own for a few hours. Solo guests can go at their own pace, and I find I'm more observant when I'm exploring on my own; I've even met some fantastic people while waiting in queues. I think you'll have a magical time!
