    When do the Walt Disney Resort Hotels decorate for Christmas?

    HI Jacqueline!

    Walt Disney World begins decorating for Christmas around mid-November. You will enjoy looking at all of the wonderful Christmas decorations at both the Disney Resorts and Parks. My favorite is Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, as they have a giant Gingerbread House and they even sell gingerbread treats. I also love the decorations at the Contemporary, especially their gingerbread village, chocolate and the special treats they sell. The Boardwalk Resort has a mini ferris wheel decoration, complete with Stitch taking ride. The Wilderness Lodge has a 60-foot Christmas Tree that takes 18 hours to put up! 

    Disney Moms Panel Tip: While you are at Walt Disney World at Christmas, I highly recommend visiting Disney Springs and enjoying all of the Holidays at Disney Springs offerings, including visiting Santa, looking at the decorations and viewing the decorations.
