Can I get a Walmart delivery to the Fort Wilderness Campground? If so, where is the order delivered to ? Can I place an order to be there when we arrive?

    Hi Michelle!

Welcome to planDisney!  I see that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins in just two days - oh boy!  Since your vacation is almost ready to begin, let's get right to answering your question.

On some of my previous trips, I've used grocery delivery services to stock up on a few essentials in my hotel room.  I typically like ordering a case of water, some favorite snacks for my kids, and a few quick breakfast items that we can grab on our way out the door in the morning.  It has always been a smooth process and definitely helps with the picky eaters in my family!

Michelle, I chatted with a Cast Member this morning who shared that grocery delivery should work for The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort just like it does at other properties in the Disney Resorts Collection. It is important to note that this service may sometimes be unavailable, limited, or restricted according to the information they share regarding Mail Services.  If any items require a signature, age verification, or an ID, Cast Members will be unable to accept those on your behalf.  This order can be received before you arrive - just make sure it is clearly labeled with your name and check-in date.

You may also be interested to know that Settlement Trading Post is available at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for guests at the campsites and cabins to purchase groceries, snacks, and beverages.  If you find that you forgot something in your grocery order, this may be a great backup plan!  When you want to leave the meal prep to someone else, you can mosey on over to Trails End Restaurant for items the family can share like pizzas, full slabs of ribs, and an 8-piece order of fried chicken in addition to traditional menu items like burgers, salads, and french fries.

Michelle, I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort and take the time to not only experience the theme parks but all of the wonderful recreation activities available at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  One of my panelist pals, Elaine, just enjoyed the horseback riding available there and shared her adventures on the planDisney Instagram page.  I know I'm adding this to my future "must-do" list!  Please stop by and see us again if you have any other vacation planning questions!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
