In the walkway leading to the Magic Kingdom are tiles with inscriptions (peoples names/important dates). Were they available for purchase and are they still to have incriptions put on them?

As you enter the Magic Kingdom, you will see thousands of personalized bricks surrounding the entranceway. These were available for purchase as part of a program called "Walk Around the World." This program was discontinued in early 2000. It was replaced with the "Leave a Legacy" program at Epcot in which messages and laser-etched photos were affixed to giant monoliths at the base of Spaceship Earth. This program was discontinued in June of 2007.

There is currently no way to leave a permanent marker of yourself at Disney World.
