Is the walking path open between the wilderness lodge and Fort wilderness area? Can you walk from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness to see the horses?

The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort offer some unique recreation experiences, such as horseback riding and pony rides. Tri-Circle-D Ranch is home to various horse breeds, making it a delightful place for any animal lover to visit. Guests staying in a Disney Resort hotel or Disney Vacation Club Resort are welcome to stop in for an equine visit. To book horseback riding or other recreation activity, call (407) 939-7529 for recreational activity reservations. The walking path between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is no longer available. You can make use of the water taxi transportation to make your way between these two resorts.

I hope this information puts some giddyup in your vacation planning, and you have a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Remember, you’ve got a friend in us here at planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
