Can you walk from Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness?

    Howdy Mitch!

Thanks for dropping by planDisney, a group of the rootinest tootinest Disney loving people you will ever meet! We are always here and ready to help you roundup answers to your vacation questions.

Once upon a time there was a walking path between Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, but sadly that path has since closed and there is no longer a safe walking route between these two resorts. Fortunately, there are other options for transportation between Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, such as bus transportation that runs between the two, as well as the ability to take the water taxi from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort to Magic Kingdom Park where you can then catch the water taxi to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and vice versa.

I hope that I was able to lasso the information you needed to plan your next visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
