    Can you walk from the Polynesian to the Wedding Pavilion during the DVC construction and if so how long does it take to walk there?

    Hi Joseph,

    Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Polynesian Resort are my family's ultimate resort stays at Disney World. One of the reasons we love them both so much is that you can use the beautiful walking path between the two resorts for access to some of the best restaurants and lounges at Disney World.

    I am excited to let you know that the walking path is back open! We regularly use this path to go get a Lapu Lapu or a Polynesian Punch in the evenings and can report that it takes us about 10-15 minutes to walk it at a leisurely pace. We love walking this path for a late dinner reservation or drinks because the sunset looks marvelous over the water and makes for some of our favorite pictures over the years.

    Since you are headed to the Wedding Pavilion, I can assume you will be celebrating something special. I highly recommend prepping for your event at the Grand Floridian Spa. It is a spectacularly relaxing atmosphere with services from massages and facials for relaxation or hair styling and makeup for the big day! The Enchanted Rose at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is also a beautiful place to grab a glass of champagne and toast the celebration.
