Welcome to planDisney, Vickie! We're excited to hear that you plan to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth soon! I'm happy to help.
While you can still purchase tickets at the front entrance to the theme parks, I recommend you
buy them in advance online. The risk of not buying your theme park tickets ahead of time is that there may be very few, if any,
Disney Park Pass reservations remaining for that day when you arrive at the gate. To enter a Walt Disney World theme park, everyone in your family must have a valid ticket and a reservation. Take a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar for your desired dates and parks.
When picking up your tickets at Will Call, only the person placing the order would need to show ID. You may also select the option to get your tickets via email on the checkout page, which would be much more convenient. Then there would be no need to pick up your tickets; just link them to your
My Disney Experience account, and you're good to go! The only exception is if you are purchasing discounted
Military Salute or
Florida Resident Tickets. Currently, there are
Special Offers for both.
Since you reside in the Sunshine State, you may be interested in the discounted 3 and 4-day tickets for Florida Residents. Any adult 18 + using the tickets will need to show
proof of residency, and you can now do this online. Simply fill out the "Your Florida Resident Information" form during checkout when purchasing your tickets through the Walt Disney World website or complete the "Customize Your Tickets" step through the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Have fun returning to the magic this summer, Vickie!
