Hi Sue!
Isn't the
Disney Skyliner a fun way to travel through Walt Disney World? I quickly fell in love with the gondolas when we stayed at Disney's Art of Animation a few months ago. We're not alone either. The Disney Skyliner is very popular with resort guests and quickly hit the milestone of
1 million guests transported through the sky!
Another feature of the gondolas that I absolutely love is the theming. Many of the units are decorated with our favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters. Our family always keeps an eye out for the Guardians of the Galaxy characters.
While the Disney Skyliner is an attraction in itself, I wouldn't recommend trying to walk from
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort to
Disney's Pop Century Resort. The walk would be about 3 to 4 miles along very busy roads. There isn't a nice, direct, and safe walking path connecting the two resorts. Perhaps the best way to incorporate a ride on the Disney Skyliner would be as part of your Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT day. You can use the gondolas to travel between the parks, or simply ride round trip. Another option would be to use the resort
bus transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then use the Disney Skyliner to travel to EPCOT. You can then return to where you started either via the Disney Skyliner again or via the
boat transportation. While over by the EPCOT area, you can also stroll through the Boardwalk and enjoy a delicious treat from the
Boardwalk Bakery.
I hope this helps!
