    Can you walk the 5k at Castaway Cay?

    Welcome Aboard, Alicia!

    One of my favorite things to participate in on Castaway Cay is the 5K. It is a lovely way to begin the day on Disney's private island.

    The 5K on Castaway Cay is a "fun run", so you can absolutely walk it! The Crew Members will wait until all the "runners" have returned, or about 75 minutes, before they pack up.

    Be sure to watch your Daily Navigator for the announcement of the 5K, and head to Guest Services to register for it. As of right now, runDisney has designed a special medal for this event, and it is awesome! There is currently no charge to participate as well.
