Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Daniel. I am so happy you stopped by.
My family takes sanitation very seriously at all times; I am the queen of antibacterial wipes and my kids practically bathe in hand sanitizer. I know that sanitation is at the forefront of everyone's mind at the moment but the Walt Disney World Resort takes guest safety very seriously and always maintains the highest standards for cleanliness, so I would not think twice about using the utensils provided.
Daniel, if you do choose to bring your own utensils into the parks, there should be no issues, with one exception. The
Property Rules, Policies, & Regulations state that no knives of any type are allowed, and they do not make an exception for silverware, so you would be best to leave those at home. Additionally, because there may not be a safe place to wash your utensils in between uses, I would actually recommend that instead of bringing multi-use silverware, you bring a box of assorted biodegradable disposable silverware. That way there is no fuss trying to find a sink to wash them in while you are between meals.
While you are waiting on your November vacation, be sure to swing by the Disney Parks Blog to check out
Disney Magic Moments. This collection of recipes, activities, and heartwarming stories will be sure to add a little pixie dust into your stay-at-home routine.
I hope that this helped, Daniel. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical, and safe, getaway.
See you real soon!
