Welcome aboard, Erin!
It's so exciting when that date to begin
online check-in finally rolls around, isn't it? That means that your
Disney Cruise Line adventure isn't too far away! I'm glad you've already got that date marked in your calendar and you're prepared to begin checking in.
If you're anxious to complete it so as to be able to pick all the fun extras like
Port Adventures,
Adult Exclusive Dining, some specialty
Character Experiences and more, don't worry that your sons' passports are not here yet. You do not have to complete everything in the online check-in that first day. Go ahead and complete as much as you can in the Identification section, and move on to the other sections. You can always come back to update or change anything you've already entered or selected. If you'd like to just select birth certificate for each of your sons for now, great! But, go back and change it once the
passports arrive and you can enter the information then. If you're getting close to the sail date, just remember that you'll need to go back as soon as possible to complete the check-in, finalize it and print the signature form at the end to bring to the port with you. Should you later run into any problems where the system won't let you change from birth certificate to passport, just call the agents at Disney Cruise Line to add their passport information instead.
Disney makes it super easy to walk through the whole check-in process, Erin.
Have so much fun planning, and enjoy your magical cruise vacation!
