Anchors aweigh, Juan, and welcome to planDisney!
I’m glad that you sailed over with your question so we can help you get in ship shape for an amazing
Disney Cruise Line vacation. You are wise to confirm the details regarding your r
equired travel documents so you have everything in order.
I see that you may have already been able to check in for your cruise, so hopefully everything went smoothly. You should have been able to check in
using your government-issued id and birth certificate. Now, when your passports do arrive, you should be able to update your documents with your passport information. In order to do this, you will need to
log in to your Disney Cruise Line Account and navigate to the
Already Booked tab, and then
My Reservations. There you will find the
Cruise Details information. Check there to see if your
Guest information is "pending approval" or if it is listed as "complete.” If it is listed as "complete," you may try to modify your travel documentation and submit a photo of your new passport.
Since you are less than a month out from your cruise, I recommend that you
contact Disney Cruise Line and notify them that you have a new passport. Alternatively, if you are unable to update your documents prior to your cruise, you will need to take the documents that you used for online check-in and present those, along with your passport, for your cruise terminal check-in.
Juan, I hope this has been helpful to you and that you have smooth sailing from here on out. If you have any other questions or would like some of our planDisney top tips for making the most of your Disney Cruise Line vacation, please cruise back by and let us know which ship you are sailing!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
