Is there a waiting list for park reservations?

Hi there, Shane! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and asking your excellent Disneyland Resort question!

It is a magical day! Disneyland Resort has finally reopened and Guests are being welcomed back into a land of magic! At this time, Guests will be able to enjoy Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Currently, only Guests that are California residents will be able to enter both theme parks according to local guidelines. Additionally, you may notice some updates during your upcoming visit. Some of these include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact.

Guests will also need a theme park reservation in addition to their tickets prior to entering both theme parks! Guests may make their reservations as soon as they have purchased theme park tickets. It is highly recommended that you check availability before purchasing tickets and make your reservations immediately after purchasing tickets. Availability is going quickly due to the popularity of returning to the theme parks!

At this time, there is not a theme park reservation waitlist. However, other Guests may cancel their reservations which would open up more availability. With this in mind, I highly recommend continuing to check availability before your planned visit just in case more spots come available!

I hope this information assists you in planning future visits to Disneyland Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you along the way!
