    We are still waiting for the announcement of the taking of reservations after September 2021. We do our every other year vacation to Disney World. in October. We are bringing a large group this time. Can you give me some idea. We usually stay two weeks.

    Welcome to planDisney, Kathy!  We are glad you brought your question to us today.

    I know many guests are anxious to begin planning their Walt Disney World Resort vacations for next fall.  It feels good to be able to put something on the calendar to look forward to!

    For the past several years, vacation packages and room rates have been released sometime in the summer (usually June) for the following year.  I think we can all agree that this year is anything but normal!  At this time, rooms and vacation packages are currently unavailable for dates beyond September 2021.

    Kathy, we haven't heard anything yet about when bookings for next fall might become available.  At this point, I wouldn't want to even hazard a guess -- there really is no precedent or prior experience with this situation to base it on.

    Your best bet will be to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as well as follow the blog on social media channels.  When bookings become available for next October, I'm sure we'll see the news there first.  You are also welcome to check back with us at planDisney to see if any announcements about vacation packages or Disney Resort Hotel reservations have been made.
