Do I wait to do my online check in the day of arrival or do I need to do it now? Our arrival date isn't until the second week of March.

Hello, Kim, and welcome to planDisney!

I know you must be excited about your visit to Walt Disney World Resort this month. I love using Online Check-In when our family visits Walt Disney World. Skipping the Front Desk and heading directly to our room after a long drive down to the Most Magical Place on Earth is such a joy!

Disney is strongly recommending Guests use Online Check-In to aid in social distancing efforts and avoid delays. You can begin the check-in process now on disneyworld.com or with the My Disney Experience app. There is no need to wait until the day of your arrival. Remember to bring your MagicBand with you or set up the Unlock Door feature on your smartphone.

If you have a credit card on file there's also no need to stop by the Front Desk to check out of your room. Simply leave your room any time before 11:00 a.m. on the morning of your departure. If you're not leaving town immediately, you can store your luggage with Bell Services. Disney will send an email with any itemized hotel charges or you can view your charges on the My Disney Experience app.

Please let us know if we can help you with any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
