I want to wait to see what hotel discounts come out for our stay, but also want to book dining 180 days out. Should I just book a hotel knowing we might change it? Does a park ticket purchase alone allow us to make the reservations 180 days out?

Hi Kara!  Planning Disney vacations is so much fun, I am so glad you are thinking ahead for your upcoming journey.   You are certainly welcome to book your hotel stay now, and if any future discounts are announced you can call Disney reservations and they will be happy to apply them to your stay if they are applicable.

Disney Dining can be reserved 180 days in advance by all guest, regardless if they are holding a Disney Resort hotel reservation or not.  I encourage you to make your reservations online, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463.    You will also not need to purchase your park tickets before you book your dining.

I hope you are able to get all the fantastic Disney Dining options booked that you are planning.   I highly recommend  my families favorites, The Flying Fish Cafe, and Tusker House.    Kara, if you need any additional recommendations for dining options, or any other help planning your magical vacation, please let me know.

    Have a Tiggerific Day,

    ~Jen
