can we wait to checkin at the hotel instead of doing it before arriving??

    Hey there, hi there, Susan!

Welcome back to planDisney! It’s nice of you to stop by with a question for us!

While there is so much to celebrate during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, nothing gets me as excited as staying inside the magic at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. You’ll find the service to be impeccable as Cast Members welcome you Home, magical theming all around, and amenities that are hard to beat, such as Movies Under the Stars!

Susan, although Online Resort Check-In is convenient and recommended, you are absolutely welcome to stop by the front desk of your Disney hotel to check in. In fact, on a recent stay, I had to do just that, and a friendly Cast Member was happy to assist me.

If you’re following planDisney on Instagram, you’ll find the highlights section located just above the posts on the feed titled “WDW Resorts,” which features tips and tricks you may find helpful during your stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel! I do hope you check those out!

We can’t wait for your magical vacation to begin so very soon, Susan. Have an enchanting time!
