We have a wagon that fits inside of the stroller measurements for our 3 kids, can we bring it?

    Hiya Mike!

Welcome to planDisney! We are still a pro stroller family for Walt Disney World Resort and I will not stop until I can't push it anymore or they reach every weight limit there is. Right now we rent double strollers at the Parks as the maximum weight is 100 lbs or less and it is convenient for our needs. I have each kid take turns "resting their legs" on the stroller since both can't fit on it at the same time.

Unfortunately, Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules explicitly state that stroller wagons are not permitted. This is still true even if it fits within the stroller sizing guidelines. However, exceptions can be made if the stroller needs to be deemed a wheelchair. Guests will have to visit Guest Relations to procure a "Stroller as a Wheelchair" Tag which will be attached to the wagon or stroller of your choice. There will be a conversation and they will have to make a decision based on a few factors as noted in the Accessibility Planning Guide

Cast Members will have to determine if:

    • the child with the disability uses the stroller as a mobility device in place of a traditional wheelchair
    • the child has medical equipment that needs to be transported with them through the queue.
    • the adult with a mobility disability needs the stroller for use as a mobility device.
You stated that you have three kids which means finding a triple stroller that also fits the sizing requirements will be a bit difficult. My research has found two right now that fit including the Joovy Qool Triple Stroller and Zoey The Trio triple Stroller. You will have to keep looking to see if another fits or consider maybe trying out two sets of strollers. A double and a single may be what works if you have two adults who can push. Another idea is to do what I do and have the kids take turns. Maybe the magic and excitement may have them wanting to walk and see it from their footed perspective. (I'm hoping they aren't runners!)

I'm sorry that this is the news I give you the night before you arrive at the Parks but I hope you have some alternate solutions. Don't forget your stroller fan as it is still pretty hot and something to decorate your stroller with to make it stand out from the sea of stroller parking. Strollers are not allowed in the queues unless they have the "Stroller as a Wheelchair" Tag so you will have to park your stroller in a designated space near the attraction. It could be a short walk away so don't assume any space near the ride is a parking spot. Look for the signs and leave them there or you will find them missing when you get out of the attraction. Cast Members work to organize these spaces and will move them to the appropriate parking areas.

I hope this helps and you have a lovely time!

    Happy Planning!
