Karla from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello we are from Wa and our daughter is turning 18 this July and haven’t been there yet, my question is Disneyland park is only for California residents only?

    Hi Karla,

On behalf of all of us here at planDisney, Happy 18th Birthday to your princess! What an exciting milestone birthday!

While I'm sure you'd love to celebrate her special day with her at "The Happiest Place on Earth," only California residents may visit Disneyland Resort at this point in the phased reopening. While we don't know yet when Guests from other locations will be able to visit, I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or Disney's official social media channels for any updates or announcements. I know many Guests (and planDisney panelists!) are wishing on a star that residency restrictions can be relaxed soon.

In the meantime, I'd encourage you to bring a little magic to her birthday celebration by finding the perfect Disney gift online at shopDisney or incorporating some #DisneyMagicMoments into her day. If she can't be in the parks, why not bring some of the joy and wonder of the parks to her? I hope her birthday is truly magical!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at planDisney, Karla, and I'm sending pixie dust that all your Disneyland Resort dreams can come true sometime soon!
