Visting 1st week of March '13 with DH and 3 kids (7,2,1). Narrowed down to deluxe studio at BoardWalk, Beach Club, Animal Kingdom or Saratoga Springs. Anyone able to tell me which of the these gives the most square footage?

    Hi Kristin,

The exact square footage may vary slightly from room to room at each resort, but in general they are extremely similar. The average square feet at a Boardwalk studio is 412, at the Beach Club is 356, at AK Jambo is 365 and at Saratoga Springs is 355. There is a large discussion of this topic on the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "Deciding Where To Stay At Walt Disney World, Number Crunching Part 3: Square Footage."

While square footage is important, particularly if you'll have a baby in a crib, it's not the only thing to consider. Resort amenities and location are equally, if not more, important depending on how much time you'll be spending in the room and which parks you'll be visiting.

Of the resorts you mention, I'd vote for the Beach Club, just because the pool is so great for little kids.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
