    I am visting WDW, arriving on 10/31. Is there an alternative trick or treating area from the MNSSHP?

    Yes, there is an alternative!  Although the exact details are still being finalized, I have been able to confirm that there will be trick or treating in Downtown Disney (DTD) on Halloween. More details aren't yet available, but if you ask at Guest Services in any of the parks (or DTD), or a Cast Member at your resort, you should be able to get more details at least a few days in advance. 

    Historically there has been Trick or Treating at DTD on Oct 30 and 31 from 5 pm to 9 pm.  It seems reasonable to think that this will be the schedule for 2008 as well, but PLEASE be sure to confirm the details when you are at WDW.

    I have also heard that some of the resorts historically have offered some Halloween-related activities and/or trick or treating, but I don't know any more details about that for 2008.
