Hey Howdy Hey Rachel,
Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney. It won't be long now until you are on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration! If you ask me, the holidays are the most wonderful time of the yEAR to visit!
I am lucky enough to have a number of friends that live fairly close to
Walt Disney World Resort, and since I do not get to see them that often, I love having them visit me during my vacation. You will be happy to know that day visitors are able to visit you at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel as well as use the complimentary
Disney Transportation. Your guest will need to stop and check in with security at the resort entrance and be prepared to provide a photo ID. They will need to let the Cast Member know they are there visiting a guest and provide your name. It will also be helpful for your guest to know your room number, and if applicable, what building you are in. This will help verify that you are a Guest at the resort. Once security has confirmed the information, they will be directed to the closest parking location, which is typically complimentary for a day guest.
As a reminder, if your guest plans on joining you at a theme park for the day, he or she will need a theme park admission ticket and
theme park reservation. If you all plan on resort hopping or heading over to
Disney Springs for a day of fun, then no reservations or tickets will be needed.
I hope you all have a fantastic time. Be sure to head over to Disney's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa and check out the incredible life-size gingerbread house. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and
see me.
Wishing you the most magical vacation,
Margaret
