    We are visiting with our 3 1/2 year old son in February and are staying at CB. Is there a particular section you would recommend since we are traveling with a small child? If so, is there a cost for requesting a specific section? Thank

    Marie,

    Some rooms, typically referred to as preferred locations, do have extra charges associate with them. Often the charge is based more on the view the room offers, but location within the resort, particularly the proximity to amenities like transportation and dining, do sometimes contribute to a preferred location charge.

    What I would suggest you do is ask for rooms in the following buildings, but ask if there are rooms in these buildings that do not come with that added charge. Or if they do, what is that charge.

    Within the Caribbean Beach Resort, what you want to do is stay near the Old Porte Royale Centertown, where the main pool, transportation, and dining are located. This is NOT the building where you check in, which is the Custom House.

    The best buildings are, in order;

  • Buildings 26, 25, and 24 in the Martinique section
  • Buildings 31, 32, and 33 in the Trinidad North section
  • Buildings 45, 44, and 46 in the Jamaica section
  • Buildings 51, 52, and 53 in the Aruba section

    I am glad to help with any follow-up questions!

  • Have a magical vacation!
