Hiya Hayley! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your message. Oh boy, you've got a terrific countdown in the works to visit Walt Disney World soon. Woo hoo!
I've got some good news. Because you are purchasing dated-based park tickets for your December vacation, you will not need to make any park reservations. It's nice to have this flexibility! Many times I like to check the
Park Operation Calendar as our trip gets closer, as sometimes the varying park hours, parades, fireworks or other things taking place help me decide which days we'd like to visit each park.
You are right, Christmas Day is extremely popular and at times Magic Kingdom reaches full capacity. My recommendation would be to arrive early that day, in order to secure your entrance. If you will be staying at a Disney Resort, perhaps consider using your
Early Theme Park entry that day... it will give you a definite advantage to arrive ahead of the crowds.
Make sure you install the
My Disney Experience app before you arrive, Hayley! It's handy for so many things during your Disney Day. You can charge purchases, tap into Lightning Lanes, find food or snack locations, place a
mobile food order, check attraction wait times, see a park map, or even find locations of characters to meet. It's like having a helpful little Tinkerbell in your pocket!
I hope this helps, and that you savor every moment of that magical countdown you've got in the works. I'll be wishing upon a star that you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World! Please feel free to
send me any questions you may have. I love sprinkling pixie-dust to help guests make the best memories ever.
The magic is calling!
Tami
