Will be visiting 3rd week in June and would like to treat my mom to a nice spa treatment; but I will not be staying in one of the Disney resort hotels (I will be staying in the Hilton on hotel plaza) is it still possible to get her one? and how do I do so

Your mom is a lucky lady!

You are welcome to have your mother enjoy any of the wonderful spas at Walt Disney World. There are a wide variety of spa services available at several locations throughout Walt Disney World. You can get a haircut or manicure at The Contemporary, The Grand Floridian, The Yacht & Beach Clubs, Coronado Springs, and Saratoga Springs. Additionally, there is a huge menu of other services offered at the Grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs. Bear in mind that prices can change, so just use these 2008 prices as a ballpark. Here are just some of the many choices:

Adirondack Stone Massage, 80 minutes, $185
Firm Pressure Massage, 50 minutes, $130
    Reflexology, 50 minutes $130
    Deluxe Facial, 80 minutes, $165
    Hydro Massage, 45 minutes $115
Maple Sugar Body Polish, 50 minutes, $125
    Spa Manicure, 50 minutes, $55
    Manicure/Pedicure Combination, 80 minutes $110

The above prices do not include a tip for your therapist. Discounts may be available for Disney Vacation Club members or annual pass holders, so it never hurts to ask. Probably the most convenient spa for your location would be the Spa at the Saratoga Springs Resort. You can make reservations there by calling 407-827-4455. There is more information about the spas at Disney World at www.relaxedyet.com.

Have a great time at WDW!
