Hello! We will be visiting WDW for our 1st time this Sept/Oct. My question is if we purchase the extra ticket for the Not so Scary party do we have to use our base ticket that day for Mk to get in? Can we visit AK during day then go to MK that night? Thanks

Hi Randi! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is our daughters' favorite Magic Kingdom seasonal party. There are many great, and even rare, characters out to play with all of the grim grinning Guests. I love attending as it gives me the opportunity to dress as my favorite Disney Villain - insert wickedly delightful laughs here!

Unless you want to enter Magic Kingdom before the designated party time, you will not be required to use one of your base theme park tickets; you will only need to present your special party ticket. While the official start time for the party is usually 7 p.m., in our experience, Guests have been allowed into Magic Kingdom with the party ticket as early as 4:00 p.m. That said, hours of admittance are always subject to change, so you may want to check with Cast Members before you attempt to enter that early with just your party ticket.

You are more than welcome to use your regular theme park ticket at any park the day of the party. Since you have base tickets without the Park Hopper option, this could give you the chance to experience two parks in one day. I think you could have a great morning at Disney's Animal Kingdom, visiting with some not-so-scary okapi and bats before an evening filled  with partying and trick-or-treating.

I hope you have a ghoulishly fun vacation! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
