    Visiting WDW for 1st time with 1 day tkt 6/29/12-7/2/12 so excited! Have a 4yr old who loves princesses and all things girly. What places should we take her and are there any special events happening during our stay? Also will have boy 14 and girl 12.

    Farrah,

    If you have a one day ticket, I would suggest that you go to the Magic Kingdom. There is always more to do there than at any other park.

    As for your princess, I would recommend a few items;

    • Visit the Princess Meet-and-Greet as you enter the park. There is a temporary locale in Town Square Theater, to your right as you enter the park. This is your best way for her to meet several princesses at once.
    • Meet Merida (from the upcoming movie Brave) at the Fairytale Garden, which is located to the right of Cinderella Castle as you come from the park entrance
    • Meet Jasmine in Adventureland, near the Magic Carpets of Aladdin
    • Tour inside Cinderella Castle. The tile mosaic is amazing, and really sets the mood.
    • Spend the most time in Fantasyland. Even if the new part of Fantasyland is not yet opened, you can still see the Beast's castle off in the distance, and this land is the most magical of all!

    As for special events, there is always something great going on, especially as the 4th of July approaches. But nothing of note that they have announced.

    Write me back if I can help with any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
