We are visiting WDW from 12/21-12/27 and staying at a resort in the park. We would to dine somewhere nice Christmas dinner but nothing too expensive since we are on a budget. There are 10 in our party,5 adults, 5 children ages 3-10. Any suggestions?

Hi, Kerry!  If you are coming on Christmas this year, I can't recommend highly enough that you contact 407-WDW-DINE as quickly as you can!  Many of the restaurants at Walt Disney World will be booked entirely on Christmas day, so you may have to work with the cast member to find a location that has space for your party.  Many people book their dining reservations months in advance for the busy holiday, so you may have to be flexible with your dining times and your restaurant preferences.

If you are planning ahead for next year, you are likely to find a nice, reasonably priced holiday meal at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, with very traditional family friendly fare.  You might also enjoy the Garden Grill at EPCOT, where you also get characters in the way of entertainment for your dining dollars.  The Biergarten in Germany is another good choice, as the German buffet features some holiday favorites.

You will find many of the restaurants feature special holiday menus.  You can check out the menus at www.allears.net .

    Have a wonderful vacation!
