We are visiting WDW starting June 8. Will the Topiaries still be on display in Epcot from the Flower and Garden Festival?

    Hi Heidi,

Welcome back to planDisney. The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is one of my favorite events at Disney World because the topiaries are so much fun. Unfortunately, after the official end date of the event, the topiaries are removed pretty quickly. Last year I was there just a few days after the last day of the festival and they had already been taken down. Since the festival this year ends on May 27th, I would not expect them to still be up on your visit. Don't worry though, there is so much going on at Disney World during the summer that you will not even think about missing the topiaries.

One of the best events at Disney World during June is Disney After Hours. These events are so great because you get to enjoy the theme parks when it is cooler in the evening, the wait times are significantly lower, and there are even included snacks like ice cream and popcorn.  I like to pair one of these evening events with a day at one of Disney's epic Water Parks. I recently checked out Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and instantly fell in love with Miss Adventure Falls and the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool. I had no idea that Disney World had the largest wave pool in North America and it was as cool as it sounds. June is the perfect time to visit a Disney theme park because it is warm enough to want to swim all day but not too hot yet.

    Happy Planning
