We will be visiting WDW in 05/2010, with my 3y/o son, 8 y/o nephew, and 7 y/o nephew. We are staying at a resort outside of the park. However I am interested in which character bkf would be most suitable for these boys, and best for our pocket books?

Hi, Lindsey!  The best bang for your buck is an all you can eat meal, and fortunately, most of the character meals will fit that bill.  My kids really like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort, and it's a delicious breakfast buffet.  You'll find traditional breakfast fare, the very popular Mickey head waffles, and a section of the buffet easily reachable by little ones.

We also like Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom.  The characters there currently are Pooh and Friends, but it is also a very nice breakfast buffet.  A breakfast featuring Lilo and Stich can be found at 'Ohana in the Polynesian resort.  This meal is an all you can eat meal served family style, so when you run out of something - like the delicious breads - you just ask for more.

If you are planning a day at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Donald Duck hosts the Safari breakfast at Tusker House restaurant.  You'll find a few African flavors on the menu here, but a lot of familiar breakfast buffet flavors as well.

    Enjoy your vacation!
