We will be visiting WDW 5/27-6/2. One day for rest at pool. Tight Tight budget for fam of 6. Want to do a character meal. Most affordable way to do this and is it possible to do on a day we don't go into a park? Or maybe Anim. King with meal?

Hey there Jennifer!  How exciting that you will be in the "Happiest Place on Earth" in just a few short days! I also have a family of six so I completely understand your situation. I would recommend doing a Character Dining Experience for breakfast as they are usually the least expensive meal to dine at. There are several Character Dining Experiences located in the Disney Resorts, which would not require park admission. One of my personal favorites is 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Resort which features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. This amazing breakfast is served family-style and is an all-you-care-to-eat dining location. Menu selections include Mickey Waffles, scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, smoked bacon and a variety of fresh fruits and breads. I have found this to be one of the least expensive Character Dining Experiences as well. Donald's Dining Safari Breakfast or Lunch at Tusker House located in Disney's Animal Kingdom is another great option if you would prefer a Character Dining Experience while in Animal Kingdom park. I would recommend calling Disney Dining directly at (407) WDW-DINE to see what Character Dining Experiences are available for your specific vacation dates and you can then ask the cast member for pricing for various locations. If you have any children under age three, they will be free of charge at Character Dining Experiences by sharing from an adult's plate. I hope this information helps!  Please let me know if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Sending pixie dust your way that you are able to book just the right Character Dining Experience that meets your family's needs!  Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Jennifer!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
