We are visiting WDW in October and my 4 y/o daughter has Celiac disease-no gluten. We have the quick service meal plan and I am wondering how difficult/easy it will be? We are also staying at Old Key West - any idea of the gluten free options there?

    Hi Katie!

Walt Disney World does an amazing job at accommodating guests with a wide range of special dietary needs, including accommodating guests with Celiac disease.

You will definitely have many options throughout the parks and resorts. There are many gluten-free foods, including EnerG foods Gluten-Free hamburger and hotdog buns, nachos, fresh fruit, yogurt, gluten-free pizza and macaroni and cheese at Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom and even gluten-free brownies and cookies.

I suggest that you visit the Special Diets page on the Walt Disney World site for more information on the quick-service locations that can accommodate Guests' common food allergy requirements. You can also contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com for a list of the gluten-free options throughout the Walt Disney World parks and resorts. They will also be able to provide you with detailed information on the gluten-free options at Old Key West Resort.

There is a great list of the gluten-free options at Walt Disney World at glutenista dot com, which is a unofficial WDW site.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
