Visiting WDW in Oct. with my 3 girls (ages 5,3, and 1) and 4 other adults. Nervous about bus wait times, maneuvering a single and double stroller, and ability to return to hotel for naps. Should I rent van? Won't I still have to wait for parking lot tram ?

    Hi Janet,

What a great time you will have with the large party! I love touring with other people as you get to share the memories with more people and you have extra help especially with young children.

I think you are fine with five adults and three children to use Disney's transportation system. You can generally get a seat when you have young children. You may want to have a backpack carrier for the little one to keep your hands free.

As for returning to the resort for naps, you may want to think about a resort on the monorail or over at the Boardwalk/Yacht and Beach Club Resort. This will make traveling back easier and you can avoid the bus for two or three parks. Plus you might be able to stay in one villa.

If you decide for a van, the only park that can be a challenge for parking is the Magic Kingdom. Parking is far away from the park entrance and you need to take another mode of transportation to get to the park.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
