Visiting WDW Oct.6-11. Booked at ASMovies. Thnking about doing half and half and spending the 2nd half in a Pirate Room at CBR. Is that silly or do a lot of people move resorts? Will Disney transportation move our luggage for us?

Hello my fellow Kentuckian! This is a great question, and it isn't a silly idea at all! Many guests, my own family included, like to 'resort hop' while in WDW. In fact, we are also going to Disney in September/early October, and we are also splitting our stay between two different resorts!

This can be a really great way to try out different resorts and find your favorite. It can also be a great way to save money! Many visitors opt to stay at a lower priced resort on the days they spend all their time in the parks, and then upgrade to another property when they're ready for some rest & relaxation at the resort.

Whatever your reasons, this is a very simple process. As you inquired, Disney will indeed transfer your luggage for you. Simply call the front desk the night before you will be moving to the next resort and they will give you instructions for baggage pick up and delivery. Easy-peasy!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
