Hi! Visiting WDW Nov 9-13 with family. Hoping to sneak away for a date night with hubby and experience some of the Food and Wine festival. We've never been to it. Any tips, must dos, or fun information you can provide regarding the festival? Thank you!

    Hello Jordan,

You just said some magical words to my ear, Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival presented by Chase. I anxiously await this event every year. While information, typically, becomes abundantly available in August, here's what I can recommend for you.

If I had one night with my husband, I would spend the evening eating and drinking around the 35+ marketplace booths laid out in Epcot's World Showcase. Pick up a Marketplace Discovery Passport, at the Food & Wine Festival Welcome Center, located in Future World, or where Food & Wine Festival Merchandise is sold, and at each Marketplace, you visit and taste test, have it stamped as a souvenir for your night. This Passport, provides you with a list of yummy treats and drinks served at each spot, so is also quite helpful. And stay up to date with the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Performers, in the past, have included Sugar Ray, Boyz II Men, Wilson Phillips, Richard Marx, Billy Ocean and many more. Shows are performed throughout the evening at The American Garden Theater and are free to Epcot Guests and can be a fun addition to your evening.  The Disney Parks Blog is a great place for new information about Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival events and also, the Disney Food Blog is wonderfully loaded with the delicious, delights that will be coming to us this year.

If you need more ideas or require further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
